Grilled Peaches with Whipped Cream, Honey & CinnamonPrint Recipe
- 1 cup cold Ontario whipping cream
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp grapeseed oil
- 3 ripe Ontario peaches
- 3 tbsp Ontario honey
- Sprinkle of cinnamon
- Garnish: fresh Ontario mint
Using an electric hand mixer or stand mixer, beat whipping cream until soft peaks form. Add sugar and continue to beat until stiff peaks form. Cover and refrigerate until peaches are grilled.
Pre-heat grill to medium.
Slice peaches in half and remove pit. Brush cut side with grapeseed oil. Place on grill cut side down; grill 4-6 minutes or until peaches are warm and softened.
To assemble place nectarine cut side up on plate. Spoon a dollop of whipped cream into centre. Drizzle each with ½ tbsp of honey, sprinkle with cinnamon and garnish with fresh mint.
